This is the number one Organization that as shark fisherman we should stand behind.These guys fight for our rights to beach access and are a major force for protecting the beach enviroment.We should support them as much as possible.The people at http://www.surfriderorg.com are doing a great job protecting our beaches and our natural resources and just won a major battle against the the proponents of dredging the reefs to renourish beaches that would normally renourish themselves naturally.Here's an article about the victory.I've fished beaches that took years to recover.After the dredging the small reefs just outside the surf line are covered by dead shell material ,,,,,a dead sea desert usually is the result of offshore dredging.Please support them.
