Boatless bans picture of dead sharks on the forum.
Take the $ off the fish and it is no longer indanger. Most of the general public is only concerned with making more money. The long liners do not target large costal sharks like they have in the past. The total U.S. sales quota has been in place for 12 years along with the ban on finning. I have noticed a big increase in all sharks since. the FWC laws are 10 years behinde. they also punish everyone for what a few has done. I think any steps taken against the rec fisherman is useless. If they realy care about doing something for the fish maybe a diffrent tree should be barked at. Dead sharks have the posibility to be displayed to the public first hand. All shark fishermen should be aware of what this may cause. The beach people dont care if its there swimming but they do care if it is displayed and we all know why. Dont display ya shark at the beach, it will cause problems. These fishing web sites should be fame enough without the press.Tag and release fishing is over looked and un seen and that is good. So long as we do not point a finger at each other we may not be blamed for the overfishing. Also keep in mind that Sweeden has baned tag and release fishing due to the reasoning of the mortality rate and harassment to the fish. They say if ya ant gona eat it there is no need to harass and unintentaly kill. So every step taken in the wrong direction is just another step toward giving our rights away. Together we stand!
