Is there not much material available for Vic Hislop aka The Monster Man? I've seen some extraordinary catches from that guy. 2 ton great whites, 20 foot+ fork length tigers... He is the MAN!

Vic Hislop Brainwashes everyone in his interviews to think that Sharks are swimming our waters in search of humans.. He makes sharks look like man eaters.......... Says that if we dont start hunting great whites and big sharks, they will be out of control... I personally dis like him.,..

Vic Hislop is badly mistaken when he tells the world that sharks are blood thirsty and ready to eat any human in the water..In this day and age the old myths about sharks have been discarted and an approach that promotes conservation is the correct one.Vic demonizes sharks and that works against him but no one can take away from him the fact he has caught(on rope rig) the three biggest Great Whites ever caught from Australian waters.

I grew up two streets down from one of vic hislops famous shark shows where he often hung out. Vic caught more large tigers and great whites than anyone I know, with thousands of photos and stories to back them up. Vic had two shark shows, the one I grew up next to was in a relaxed town off the Great Barrier Reef and ill always remember him telling anyone that would listen of the gigantic tiger sharks that he would catch off the reefs. The photos and videos he had in his shark shows were unbelievable, such as a video of him catching a 4 meter tiger shark from a 10ft tinnie when he was really young! I remember seeing his frozen sharks he kept whole, and his hundreds of HUGE tiger and great white shark jaws! Vic caught plenty of huge sharks, that photo with him and a 2000pound great white was caught 200m from shore in 30ft of water. The bait was a 300pound greasy cod!!! Vics whole messege was that if humans keep destroying sharks main food source, namely fish etc.. The sharks will start looking for other food sources, namely humans... Vic also protested heavily against the tourist attraction shark diving as his beliefs were that if sharks associate humans with food it could result in a bad ending if the shark ever saw a swimmer who didn't have food. Vic kept all his sharks but that being said it was acceptable back then. many people thought of him as a hero, because whenever there was a shark attack, the government hired him to catch the responsible shark, which he usually did quite sucesfully.I learnt heaps from vics shark shows they were a shark fishermans dream! Unfortunately there closed now but I will search through my old photos and see if I can find some from inside the show

looks like he just liked to kill big sharks for the hell of it. one of those, "I will because I can" attitudes.

Like him or Hate him ,Vic Hislop is the MOST PROLIFIC BIG SHARK CATCHER in the history of Mankind. He has caught huge sharks then Capt Frank Mundus(R.I.P),Mark Quartiano(Mark the Shark) ,Capt Bill Goldschmidt(SharkMen of Cortez) or Capt Rene de Dios(R.I.P.) Vic's catches from the Great Barrier Reef dwarf all others. If you don't believe me do the research.
