Tiger sharks are some of the biggest ,most ferocious of sharks in all the oceans.They are big and nasty and very powerful when hooked on rod and reel.They have been blamed for many deadly attacks on humans world wide.In Hawai they are protected because the Hawaians have a shark God although many fatal attacks in there near shore waters are attributed the the tiger shark.In other parts of the Pacific the tiger shark is very prevelent and a threat to many of the Islands natives who make a living from the ocean.I have been reading in fishing magazines for many years of the huge tiger sharks that abound in Panamanian waters.Here is a prime example of a huge Club Pacifico Tiger shark weighing 1700 lbs.Check out the girth on this beast.
