yeah the reel had sentimental value and i thought i was giving it to an upcoming sharker not someone that was gonna turn around and sell it.

I understand, But at the same time i know from personal experience we do things we don't necessarily want to do, But have to do to cover our selves possibly, financially or something.

Sorry i posted such a strong statement but this subject is my personal pet peeve...and you really didn't do wrong.

Quite a few times i have purchased items from people here and turned around and resold them simply because i found out i couldn't handle the size or weight of the reel. Or i just hit a hard spot and needed funds to pay the man. The man sucks :O)
