Hi guys my name is tom Im 16 years old and Fish on the North Carolina cost. I just became interested in fishing in general and wading for bull's after a guy at a tackle shop was telling me about how to wade for bull sharks. (going in a little over our waists. waring big magnets so they wont attack us) Me and my friend have been out a couple times fishing for them with large dead bluefish and whatever else dead fish we have. every time we were out they were swimming all around us but not even looking at our bait?? not even a bite? (it gets kinda scary sometimes! LOL) n e ways do you guys have any tips on what I'm doing wrong here? Do I need to chum the water first to get them in the mood? Me and my friend were going crazy cause we wanted to catch one of these soo bad. They were like 4 - 10 feet long! I would be so excited to catch the 10 footerrs. Can anyone help me?

Perhaps the magnets were dissuading them from eating your baits? I would not chum up the water if you are standing in it.

4:48am about to head out there to get wet with the monsters@! hopfully I will catch a big one this morning.. My friend is bringing 3 five gallon buckets of dead lizard fish all cut up to dump in the water... Some ppl tell me wading with sharks is Krazy. But with the magnets they keep from biting me and my friend greg. They have gotten realllllyy close before..but i did not think they where interested in biting us. Wish us luck. I just started getting into fishing and I looooveee it so much. Now i know how you guyss feeel

My doctor said I could stand to lose 20 or 30 pounds. So I took up 'shark wading' and got my leg bitten off. With that leg gone, I'm 30 pounds lighter thanks to 'shark wading'!
I don't know much about wading in chum for sharks but it seems like a really bad idea.
Chumming for sharks while wading in the water is RIDICULOUS unless you want to get bitten and possibly bleed out before the medics get to you.Just know this-bull sharks have the highest known level of testosterone in the animal kingdom and they have been known to attack and kill humans.

Tom the magnets are not truley doing anything. No matter how much people tell you it's creating a disturbance in the electro magnetic field, it's false. Myth busters have done an entire show based around that idea and shown it is false. Read it if you don believ me. You are merely lucky to still have your legs, I would stop asap

I'm just jerking your guys chain... I'm not sixteen... I'm an old fart at a ripe 30 years young. Did ya like my intentional horrible spelling.. I absolutely do not wade for any kind of shark. Anyone wading for bull sharks would have to be the craziest Mofo on the planet!!! Just F**kin around with you guys. About the magnets, I actually saw that myth busters as well as the special on shark week about it. I look forward to conversing with you guys about fishing!! Thanks!
