Just added this to my Shark fishing tackle box it is not a must have but it is SO SO Nice to have it. No more digging pipes in the sand, with this 24" long and 2" 3/4" blade Auger I can drill a 24" deep hole in the sand in less than 10 sec. so that means more time soaking baits. Auger Price $22(found at ACE) , Drill Price $79(Note: There are much cheaper CORDLESS drills out there).

i have started useing a rubber mallet to hit mine in. it works great and takes about 20 sec and bought it for 5 bucks

Pretty good idea man. Ive considered an auger once or twice but never tried it. Still using it?
