Mono to wire knot for shark leader

As suggested by slasherx4 i opened this post to share with everyone my knot used to connect mono leader to wire.
Because of the way how the mono wraps interact with the wire this knot NEVER failed on me.
So far i haven't seen this knot made by anyone in Florida or anywhere online.
The history of this knot started 8 months ago when i lost my first big fish on Albright knot and decided to invent one that works. After few day on testing and designing i came up with the knot that i'll share with you in this post. I still use Albright knot but not when i connect mono to wire.
The line tension that comes from mono towards this knot is not sent to the wire directly as Albright, causing the wire to cut into mono, instead that mono tension is sent to mono wraps where gets more tight on wire under high tension.
Overall slasherx4 said that this looks like a snell knot, while i agree with him, this knot is a combination of snell knot and a commercial snell knot where the knot is underneath the wraps (i'll do another video about that knot since is the must powerful knot {snell knot} to tie a hook with mono "many times the hook will bend or snap rather the knot to broke" WITHOUT sending tension to the eye of the hook).
The following video is UNLISTED in youtube search engine therefor only people who knows the full link path will be able to watch it, and you are one of them.

Here is the link:

...and Enjoy!

Mono to wire knot for shark leader (Video)

Please note: The knot in that video is as loose as possible in order for everyone to see clearly how the mono wraps around the wire.
Here is how this knot should look like:

The only think I'm worried about with this knot is that the wire might cut though the mono when a lot of pressure is added to it

The only way to know that for fact is if you test it yourself. It's designed the pressure to lay on mono, not on wire.

Jw why use this instead of a swivel I always used the albright knot for mono to wire but only for king fishing where I'm only puttin maybe 10lbs of pressure on the fish and that's just cuz kings have sharp eyes and see swivels but sharks or most others really don't care they just hungry lol

Are there benefits to not using a swivel? Or just preference?

Sometimes, when BT's jump, the wire will cut through the eye of the swivel, although using a WAY bigger swivel, say +300lb, does the job well. So, to best answer your question - this would be a cheaper, faster alternative when comes to fish for BT's or mid to small class sharks. For big ones i always use swivels.
Also, same knot works excellent tying fluorocarbon to wire for kingfish, spanish macro and cudas. With live bait on - they seem to hit the bait all the time since there is no swivel to spook them.
