Kite fishing for sharks

Here in tampa bay we get a lot of afternoon showers w strong winds in the summer. Seems like I'm always having to work against the wind, It gets old quickly. So this year I want to try kite fishing for sharks in the bay, to make the wind my friend instead of enemy. Anyone try this before ? I went on a charter out of sailfish marina about 6 months ago kite fishing for sailfish, mahi, tuna etc. it was awesome watching the initial strike ! Thought I could replace the gogs w ladyfish , jacks, macks or pins here on the west coast. Any pointers , advice or anyone wanting to join, lmk

kites don't do good in strong winds. I wanted to use them for the north winds in Florida but the cost of a kite that will handle those winds is quite pricey.
