IGFA says NO to power pro braid at 100lb test

OUTCAST · 2011-03-07T19:53:46Z

I sent in a 25ft piece of power pro (yellow) originally rated at 100lb test to the IGFA to get it tested. I was hoping it would test out low enough to stay under the 130lb mark, but it barely missed. They tested it at 5 different spots. Results 133.9 112.51 144.73 145.43 142.49 The average of the five....135.78 Anyone else ever send in braid to get it tested? I'm curious in what braid I can put on my reels and stay under the 130 mark.
