iv seen them used for kings and tarpon but always wanted to use one juyst never knew how and was wondering if some one wouldent mind showing me

Single rod trolly.
Put a bead on your line and tie on a bank or pyramid sinker. Thow it out. Down wind is usually best.
For the leader: Tie a snap swivel on one end and a hook other, wire optional.
Hook your live bait, then clip the swivel on the line you threw out. Bounce the rod a bit to get the bait out.
