I had a guy on a SUP take a bait for me. Walked it out to the drop off past the first sand bar and had a shark bump me on the way in. I prefere the yak. with peddles.

Continuing to swim baits out will have a sad end at one point. When a hungry bull shark will swim by, the shark won't care if you're swimming nor kayak your bait out, as soon as the bull feels the blood trait - the shark will most likely charge at you. Being in a kayak, you'll have more chances, then swimming. Then in the best case scenario loosing a leg, will make the bait swimmer feel sorry that he/she didn't spent $300-$400 for a kayak - i won't even mention the worse case scenario - we all know what that is.

This goes back a few years
We used to swim it out , one day I was fishing Lover's Key Beach , & just decided to try & swim out the ray wing,& did, and did it for awhile after ,until I caught a couple bigger sharks, & watched one dusk as a Hammer{ think it was ,it was a big sickledorsal,&huge caudal fin] , just slaughter a school of good size fish [ not sure what kind ] but I could see pieces of them fly out of the water, & spray 6ft in the air some was RED, after that swimming bait kind of lost attraction :o
But it was impressive watching the number that shark did   :o

So I know I can't be the first one to think about this...
Anyone think a drone would be a convenient way to drop a bait?
