Hey guys, new to the forum.
Me and some buddies have recently started shark fishing off the beach with some decent success in Tampa Bay. On the last outing we got into a debate about what depth the bait should be at, or if sinking to the bottom is fine. I've had trouble finding a definitive answer. Any advice on this issue?

Bottom,the bait more likely will stay put......walk away and forget about it!
