I have a question for the sharkers who fish 130 leverdrag reels:
I've seen on youtube how sharkers fish their 130 LD reels while fishing with circle hooks (On a consistant run..engaging drag and then reeling down at a moderate pace while rig is seated in rod holder at first). What about the sharkers that fish their 130 LD reels using "J " or " Tuna Bend " style hooks. Since most 130 LD reels are going to be a tad heavier... are you guys simply engaging the drag on a hard run to set the hook or are you guys setting the hook this route------------> (running man and (or) rod pumping after the line is wind tight to the fish)
The last couple of trips i've had i noticed i did both styles of setting the hook but that was with a 12/0 senator..... 
Just wondering how the sharkers with heavier 130 LD reels are handling business on hook setting with J or tuna bend style hooks??
