I used to do that with my 4/0's with 8 ft rods
Whenever I fish with 3 rods I usually just sling the 3rd one out..some days its the only one that gets a run all day.
If I tried that it would become the world's biggest bird's nest 
I plan on putting my 2.5 big spinners to work this year. Will be working on perfecting the leader system. I just got lucky in the past. I did get some good advice today and will start making leaders so I can land something larger then a blacktip.
