Comparing Monster Hammers,,,,,new territory in 2009-2010

I think at this point we can clearly say that land-based shark fisherman in Florida are going into new territory with the number of huge Hammers and Tigers that are caught every year for the last several years.Some attribute the big catches to the internet spreading the sport to a large audience.Knowledge and skill needed to target these giant fish can be easily accesed on the internet and others might say the shark fisherman today are more dedicated in there pursuit of the big fish,still others might say advances in tackle has been the major contributor, I personally think it's a combination of these factors.Knowledge of this sport has spread on the internet there is no doubt that this helps the novice angler learn the basics quickly but the skill takes much longer to gain.Although there is no substitute for hands on training ,time on a beach with baits in the water cannot be replaced with any amount of study. The better fisherman are those that dedicate much time and study to refine the skill needed to catch such powerful unpredictable beast.Whatever you believe to be the answer we all can use these incredible catches to promote and preserve our sport as a big part of BIG GAME FISHING .Florida's shark fisherman are undeniably leading the way in breaking new ground.
