Wrapping Hooks with Electric Tape?

im going to shrink wrap my leader and see what happens. seems im getting A LOT less bites since switching from coated 250lb to the SS 1/16th.

What are you going to shrink wrap it with? I was looking into glue lined heat shrink tubing that we use on wire connectors? Im interested to hear it works keep us posted!

i didn't shrink wrap it yet. i still have to go buy some.

Ok, so im about even on fish with wrapped and non wrapped hooks. the real kicker is 1/16th uncoated SS cable vs 250lb seven strand cable. the 250 gets hit easily twice as much.

this weekend i'll have all non wrapped hooks but ill have doubled #15 single strand, uncoated 1/16th ss cable and coated 250lb cable with mixed baits.
