Willy, i fear you are getting a (Boatless) type crowd here!!

I returned to this sight, and it is like a FWC fan page on here.... People arent even looking for big caTCHES OR GREAT REPORTS, there scanning every word and picture for illegal activity....Get a life.......................

I did nothing wrong, so id like my pictures returned ASAP...........................................

and for the guy with the Tarpon picture, Whoever feels bad for Tarpons needs to look around at fish like groupers, or sharks, the ones that are really declining in numbers..... I would rather rescue a pigeon before a tarpon.........

The only reason Tarpon are protected is because they are usefull to the rich and wealthy boaters who like to fight them(mind you alot of them fight those tarpon to death.

Tarpon are like roaches.. there everywhere...This poor guy catches A big tarpon from bridge, which for that size, is very rare, and he gaffed it for a picture.. Who the hell cares.. he may catch 5 that big in his life....
Capt skipp bob pete on his flats boat will ccatch and release 3000 in 1 year , 500 of those will die.......................................................................

So you tell me who is doing more damage.....

man i have been feeling the same way about everywhere! Every rich 12 year old around me is getting into shark fishing. I saw a 80 pound kid with a 14/0 that he could barely pick up. It sad to see everyone getting upset over someone else's shark that is in all the legal lines. I was banned from boatless for putting a dead shark on there. With no warning at all. I would hate to see this site turn into something like boatless.

I dont see SFSC turning into Boatless. Everyone has there opinion and I respect that and we have a great group of people on here that are willing to share info and are open to everyones elses opinion's. I personally get on to this forum 10-20 times a day to read the reports and recently fished with JDHAMMER and WILL what great ppl they are so we all need to keep the reports coming and lets get out there and fish Thats just my opinion

This site will never be boatless,,,,,we are not interested in that.We take a fair and balanced approach to fisherman and respect each and every one of them.We are fisherman first and then conservationist-Igot into fishing for the fun ,the thrill,the adventure not because I wanted to pet them and set them free but because I wanted to feel the pull of a big fish challenging me and my gear.So remember we feel respect the fisherman ,promote and protect our sport but that may mean having to delete a post once in a while that does not conform to respectful fishing practices.Young guys full of testosterone will make mistakes and we will deal with that accordingly.It will never mean I ban you from the site but it will probably mean you will be warned not to post a picture of a law being broken.We really don't want a picture of a dead tarpon unless you have a tag on it's lip.This makes alot of sense to me and i hope everyone understands our position

No modern day pic of a dead Goliath grouper
No pics of a dead lemon shark after the ban went into effect
No pics of a dead Dusky
No pics of dead sandbar shark(they are protected)
No pics of a dead sawfish
etc,etc,etc,etc
Get the picture?We promote safe legal harvesting Only and that includes the right to harvest a blacktip shark for the table.Very different from boatless where they won't post a pic of a dead shark .I feel that if you are going to eat it, then by all means post yopur picture but don't post a pic of dead 500 lb bull shark and say that you are going to eat it,,,,that makes no sense.There is a fine line here and it's difficult to navigate and please everyone because although a 5oo lb Bull shark is a huge catch I'd rather see it relesed then killed but I can not keep anyone from posting the picture of the catch because it is a LEGAL KILL and I have no authority to harass that person .More then likely I will commend the angler but suggest it should of been released to replenish it's species.If you catch a world record sized fish I will advise you to weigh it on a IGFA certified scale and make your mark in shrk fishing history and for this you can bash me if you want but it is the essence of being a Modern Day Big Game Hunter and not everyone agrees - but it's OK we are each entitled to our own opinions .

ill harvest a 500lb bull shark. i harvested a 200lb spinner and only got 50lbs of meat. but i give away alot of meet to so none of it goes to waste other then guts and fins.

The only way to waist meat is take it to the dump. The worms, bugs, buzzards, and critters realy appreciate what i leave for them sometimes. So the humans get the good stuf and the critters get the rest. Tarpon looks like good bait. Yeah those guys get alot of tarpon ate by the sharks. Its so funny to watch a shark mess up there big socie tourny. They all look so cheesy and fake with there little look alike shirts and socie pants. Just rember we dont use lures. If its leagle whether its a shark ya gona eat or a marlin ya want for bait whatever ya do with it is your choice because its your fish and ant no ones business or place to judge any one or what they do with what they caught. Boatless needs to join up with the cage divers then they can bleed together.
