It sounds like what you're running is pretty good as it is. They say there is no such thing as over kill. Since you are going for monsters and like the #19 wire, go with a 6ft bite section. A big shark can swallow up that bait quickly and get that cable in his mouth. Big tigers have been known to cut through heavy cable.

For the absolute monsters you might want to double strand your #19 wire, it is unlikely that they will cut one strand but it has happened

Agreed. It can help prevent kinking and bending of the wire.

I use 480# cable doubled up for my bite section and .095" weed eater line doubled up for my shock leader section. Just an idea, but the weed eater line is way cheaper for way more compared to the really heavy mono, not to mention it is built to be ridiculously abrasion resistant.

More wire and 700 plus shock leader and you will be in good shape

Id go with 1200 lb mono for the shock leader and 5 feet of 19 wire doubled up. The reasoning for such heavy leader is more for abrasion rather than strength. The shark doesn't care he will eat the bait either way.
