Where is everyone?
So, based on the vast amount of knowledge on this site; it obviously used to be quite active. Let's get it started again.
Anyone know someone near east coast central fl who wouldn't mind a tag along on their boat? I'm leaving for Afghanistan soon and I wanna go offshore but too broke for private charters. lol

Public media like facebook ,Instagram and snapchat has seen a big decrease in the numbers of people who actually post on forums compared to past years. The world is changing and technology affects all of us. Our base our history is here and those that want to use knowledge gained in nearly 5 decades can come here and learn. One thing we dont have here is the bashing and BS that frequents places like facebook. Good luck brother.

I live in a sailboat by Merritt Island which is near Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach, but right now I'm out of state for a few months. Cheapest boat I know of is the Orlando Princess. They have a night shark fishing package for $40. Last I checked, it included dinner and all the beer you wanted until the keg dried up (check to see if they still offer beer). Groupon might help you out with it.

Thanks for the reply. I've been on this boat several times actually for that night sharking thing. Was pretty enjoyable for $40-50 for a night. That's what started getting me into sharking actually.
But I was wondering more for private charters. Looking for someone who knows their stuff but hopefully less than a grand for the day. Can't get that many people to commit you know?

There's an app called Tapatalk which you can download on your phone and keep up on forums. Not sure if you're involved with that but if you're not, I'd see what it takes. It's deff convenient.
