We got 2 nice bass in under 15 min.
Got the bait in the lake with the castnet.
That is a cute picture of you and your son with the largemouth.That's the real deal and how so many of us started in the world of fishing. Hopefully our fishing rights won't be trampled on to the point where a man taking his son fishing can turn into an arrestable offense and an easy afternoon into a nightmare.

He did the running man all the way up to the pool.
And dragged the Bass out of the water.

Backyard Big Bass here. My wifes friend got this guy out back today.
That thing has one hell of a head on it! Nice fish!
My son had a monster bass like this on the other day and we lost it on a bench that was in the water. The lake is still flooded in the back so trees and benches & bird baths are in the lake lol. Huge bass in the grass in the backyard right up next to the pool. We hooked him on a live Crawfish with a bobber. The bass is swimming around with the bobber still attached kinda like the movie jaws.
Just with a bass 
just go out and snag the bobber now and get the bass back
wonder how long it really takes a hook to rust out in fresh water. Also wonder if he would take another bait while still trailing a bobber.
I chased down a float on the grassflats once and snagged the line and landed a small red that was attached to it .
We were fishing in a lake once ,four of us last year of high school, I had a minnow & bobber on,all of a sudden down it goes & just takes off ,so I grab it, "set" & start reeling, my reel breaks ,the shaft snapped, so I run up the bank, my buddies are cracking up , I get the line in, run back down the bank ,grab the fish, 22"Trout, ....With a #4Hook in it's mouth,attached to a coil of line, & MY hook was snagged up in this coil, NOT IN HIS MOUTH!!!
They really laughed then!
