what weight range of a 7.5 foot lemon shark?

I recently caught a 7.5 foot lemon shark and did not weigh it since I wanted to release it quickly. What would you guys say is the average wieght range of a 7.5ft lemon shark?

Next time get the fork length and girth (widest point). With those measurements you can calculate the weight using a set formula.

Fork length squared x girth divided by 800

I'd guess 80-100 lbs depending on how thick..they don't start getting heavy until they're 8' plus.

Yep my guess 90-120. They do start to bulk up at that point especially if pupping.

Thank you guys for your estimates. I was told it probably weighed around 160-175lbs by a reliable source and I agree with him.I will post a shark report as soon as I go shark fishing again.

Sorry, I just realized I gave you the wrong formula.
It is girth squared times fork length divided by 800

Sorry for the mishap, dislexia can be a bit**
