what's your favorite reel?

Im lookin into getting a new reel. and need some opinions. Do you like lever drags over star drag? Have a favorite company? Or just your personal favorite reel.

I like lever drags. I'm to broke to get a new reel so I have my senators still. But I have fished a number of lever drags and like avets the best. 80w and 50w trx

penn 6/0 wide of 50lb class, avet 50w trx is my go to reel i have caught many many sharks with this reel and its still going strong(had it6+ years)monxide has seen it in action its a great 130lb class reel if u fish braid. And i just got a fin-nor 130 about 2 month ago and it is on hardcore reel. its 2 hard to place 1 favorite reel :lol: :lol:

My Avet 80W is my pride and joy. Been fishing it 2 1/2 years now and it has not let me down yet.

Okuma cavalla 20-II and Okuma cavalla 50-II. After fully tuned-up, the first one has 20lb drag at strike, 30lb at full and same cranking power, then the 50-II has 35lb drag at strike, 50lb at full, where cranking is easily possible at 50lb drag, both reels in lower gear. Too bad that they don't make them anymore.
