What's a good rod for a senator 9/0?

Biggest reel I've owned and not sure what brand and size rod should go on it. Preferably something cost effective but any advice would be appreciated. I would like at least the first guide and he tip to be rollers.

what lb line are you running? i have mine spooled with 50lb mono on a Seeker American series 40, (50) 60lb rod (50lb class). got it under $100 and i think its 5'6". they disconinued it and came out with the black steal version. A 655XH-5 1/2' RS/RT

I'm running 500 yards of 100lb braid and then just topping it with 100lb bullbuster mono. Not sure how much mono I'll get but the braid is on now and there's still plenty of room.
I like the look of that rod a lot. Go Gators btw ;) I'll definitely look into it. Are they still selling for that price? I like shorter rods as they have to fit in my 2000 camaro lol

I googled the link you posted Lowprofile but all the rods I saw were $229-$450ish... I'd like to stay around $100

I actually ended up finding a better rod for my 6/0 and then used the Penn Slammer 30-80lb rod on my 9/0 instead of the 6/0 it came on... Not the best but it works fine for now and saves me money from buying another one. Although I was recently at a flea market and saw some Blackfin rods that looked pretty sweet for really cheap with a metal reel seat as well. I'd look into those if price is an issue for ya.

Anyone around Coconut creek? I have a star delux made for a 9/0. Aftco rollers and a stuart 50lb butt. $125 for the rod or $200 for the rod with 9/0 spooled full of 50 lb mono, like 800 yards or something.
