What are your shark fishing goals for the rest of 2009?

One of my main goals is to travel the state in the RV and film some incredible shark fishing from different parts of Florida and maybe the Carolina's.A major goal would be to break 14 ft for a hammerhead shark from land(my personal best is 13 feet 8 inches from a boat).Another goal is to fish the panhandle with the northern sharkers and post a nice report with something over 11 ft.

With the way things are going for me, I'd settle for a 10 foot Lemon, or a 400 pound bull shark,12 foot tiger or a 12 foot Hammer. Just something big!!!!!!!!!!!

My goal is to continue taking my wife and daughter shark fishing with me,continue to put out 4 shark rods at a time, and have my wife catch every shark for the rest of the year, she has really got the fever lately, i mean she actualy walked out shark baits the other day, swam with bait in hand, not kayak like most girls do!!!!!

My goal has already been reached personally with that 12 ft 2 hammer from a bridge,i have no ego or greed in me to feel the need to catch every shark, so now i want my wife to hit 10 feet!!!! she just got a 7ft 7 lemon last week!!!!

Well my goal for this year is to break in my 2 new 6/0's with something that will take a little while to reel in to the beach.......I am not picky since I just got the bug to shark fish and have only had one trip which only resulted in a few short runs and no sharks.

I've been fishing sweet water for a long time, and those last two will probably be the hardest ones. You're gonna have to do a little traveling, and bring some big plugs and some more luck. They don't call muskies, "the fish of 10,000 casts" for nothing  If you're in the right place anything can happen though...best of luck dude.

Back on topic, I'm going tiger hunting on SPI this fall...hope to make it happen.
