war wagon
ok so i am 90% sure i am getting my grandparents van when they get back from cali. it will be my fishing car since it is alot better on gas then my truck and prolly more comfortable to sleep in. i want to keep as much room on the floor as i can for coolers, tackle, grill, chairs and other things i might need. so i was looking at the rod holder that go on the headliner i found this one and it is cheap and looks like it would work. only thing i am thinking is that it wont hold up to having a bunch of rods on it let alone a few big shark reels and then bait rods. it attaches on the coat hangers and is just webbing i think if i really wanted to i could make one but i dont want to do that yet. so my question is does any one have one of these already or have had one and loved it or the coat hangers broke and sent rods crashing down on to you and causing you to crash and roll your car and spill your bait and drinks every where (ok maybe not that bad but you get the gist.) here is a link to the one im looking at.

My brother had something like that in his van. It was like a bungy cord stretchy like material. He had a couple light spinning setups and two Tarpon rods w/ 4/0's on them. It never fell but sagged and pissed me off all the time, rods all in my face and weights swaying in my face
. I think a rigid one of the same design would work just fine though. I thought about making one for my Jeep Cherokee out of 2x4's or something but alot of my rods are 8ft+, My Jeep is too short. My longer rods would be bent against the windshield and the heat will make them retain the bend. A van is much bigger though.
