Type of rod to use

Alright I've been getting a lot of good advice regarding what type of line to use. Pretty sure I'm gonna buy some type of Penn reel. But, I have no clue on what type of rod to go with it. I'll be fishing from a beach so any advice on this would be great.

$300-$350. I was looking at stand up rods

Check out http://www.barrettrods.com , u could have them build it to accommodate your body, build , strength, etc

Ty. Seen that web site last night. They look sharp. My only problem is that I'll only be shark fishing a few weeks out of the year. So I gotta kind of weigh my options

I have a star rod aerial that I like that was only $130 brand new

Looked at the Barrett's. Very nice and you'll be paying for that. Their website was hard to see how to pick one out.
