on #19 single strand who tapes up?

I am 50/50 I run non taped and taped with good luck on both. I prefer the #19 coated with taped hook though.

I have tried it and it doesn't seem to make much a difference. The non taped rig I fish alongside it seems to always get hit first. If humans will eat filthy garbage like McDonald's food then a shark will eat a bait with wire exposed..and still get a healthier meal.

Our guys have started taping further up recently and had more luck with the hammers, but I myself only tape the hooks... 
Just an average fisherman.
