I'm in fort myers, walking out the door right now, surf is calm on the beach

If I didnt have work tonight Id be headed out as we speak. Weather report says 1-2 foot seas, 2mph winds or something like that that on Indian Rocks Beach . They're still rambling bout "rip currents" on the news but on a yak or canoe I think Id be ok . Sat at Pass-A-Grille some people got pretty messed up due to rip currents sweeping them out to the gulf. Think one is dead and the other in intensive care but they were SWIMMING RIGHT NEXT TO THE PASS where the tide is always strong as hell.

a buddy of mine got a big bull 2days ago in "the pass". spinners r thick 75-100yrds offshore in the mlt run in my area.

thats there own fault for choosing to swim there. I consider my self a great swimmer a swim instcutor in marine corps and i still woouldnt swim there
