You know what i am going on the record about a few of you guys here on this website such as Mike Palmer and his partners, The guys on team black Bart, a female angler (Mellisa) who i think is the top 15 land based shark fisherman year in and year out from what I have seen, and a few others i may be leaving out. Well anyways about the names i mentioned, you guys really stick out to me as the cream of the crop from my short stints browsing boatless.
I mean those 14ft hammers mike and them land from the beach are once in a lifetime fish, 99 percent of the anglersl who tell you they landed a 14ft hammerhead are lying, yet you guys really do the damn thing. I have always gave you guys the props you deserve cuz nobody outfishes you guys from west palm to melbourne!!!!
Team black bart, just check the last 3 land based tourneys and you will see how they won them all.
Now what i am getting at is, you guys i know and for some i assume have had trouble reviving some sharks, and especially (hammers)I personally tried releasing my two biggest hammers caught from a bridge, and i had no luck both times, hell for my smaller 10 footer it was dead before i even made it to the seawall.
This most recent hammer i caught , the 12 ft 2 was hooked 13 light poles out on long key, and fought 3 hours in between the electric poles against a ripping tide, then walked while still giving its last fight all the way to the shore which probably took another hour, by the time i got it around the seawall and into the flats,that shark was not going to make it, however i still hustled, had my teamate AAron bunche strip to his boxers and fly way out into the flats to make sure we could unhook her take the picture and measurement as fast as we could and somehow swim her back and forth and try to bring her to life and give her a strong chance of survival, which we did but to no prevail. I mean we took it to the extreme were we were so far out on long keys flats that you wouldn't see us from land!!!! I can proudly say me and my team did a flawless job of giving that shark a chance. Most anglers would have dragged that fish out of the water to get a better picture like (old skool ) and (black bart) respectively have the (luxury of doing) do to a faster battle with MUCH LESS TO NO CURRENT FROM THE BEACH, NO LOBSTER BUOYS TO HAVE THE SHARK TANGLED TO AND WEAR HER DOWN, NO LONG DISTANCE TO WALK TO BE ABLE TO REACH AND RELEASE HER, AND DEEP WATER ALL THE WAY UP TO THE SAND WERE YOUR PICTURE IS TAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY DID I SAY THE FISH WAS RELEASED????
Because we truly did everything we could, and the majority of the anglers would have made a huge fuss over it, for the exact same reasons will explained (Lack of knowledge about hammers, and most importantly the vital difference in the hammers safe release between a hammer caught from a beach and one from a bridge) Also "Immaturity" I.E. the younger snappy kids on boatless,envy, and lastly it hurt me to see the fish die, and didn"t want to spread it around to those who are deeply hurt to see a marvelous fish like this die, i truly respect and admire all of those in this sport who fall into this category!!!
I also want to add that i have no ties to boatless, and could care less about the site or the administrators for lack of interest, and something very major i will add later!!!!
I also want to clarify that i only used Mike Palmer,team black bart, mellisa and the others as an example,
to help clarify my point, and as i mentioned i think they are some of the top dawgs on boatless and florida period.you guys are Excellent anglers who truly impress me with your catches!!!!
As for the individual in the boatless circle who had the nerve to hack another mans computer and search through his pictures is a lowlife chump, that is what 13 year old computer geeks do. Do you have a girlfriend dude? do you like girls? any family? or a hobby to kill time in between breaking federal laws and hacking peoples computers and pictures? What if you had some one looking at your wife naked or (some sicko which is what you sound like) checking out your kids!!!! You are scum for doing that stuff man thats low!!!!!!
When the police find this subject, he will be dealt with, after that karma will catch you, after that when it all trickles down to gossip and word gets to me about who you are, i would love for you to come fishing with me on the beach solo!!!! we will have a blast i promise!!! Miami style baby!!!!
