that rod was only to be used for king fish not any other use.
thats all i used it for and a few small snook. james used it for bonita and other shit. but when ever it flexed it rubbed the blank. but either way i got a tld for the rod.
where did the line touch the blank?
by the transition. some one told me that rod was 2 blanks put together but it looked like one of the mudhole mhx blanks.

one mans kingfish rod is another mans shark rod...like i have kingfish rods tht ive built and i use them for kings, tarpon, snook, shark..just because you say its only ment for kingfish doesnt mean tht ur only going to catch a kingfish on it

If the rod is built correctly it should not rub at all unless your fighting old hittler on a tarpon rod haha

shh he dont need to know i got a 5ft hammer on that rod if he knows that it voids my warranty. lol
