The most abrasion resistant mono known to man...

What is it and where do I buy it? Lost a real monster last night so I got some issues to work out in the meantime until after the holiday when the snowbirdies migrate back out of here. The mono I've been using I chose that because it does not stretch much, but now priorities have changed. Looking for something affordable and good against abrasion, thanks guys.

I've never used Bullbuster so I couldn't tell you but i'm sure it's good. I have used Ande, Sufix and now Penn and they have all held up well against the power poles in the Keys and other obstructions. Don't think you can go wrong with any of these lines. Penn is supposedley the same line as Sufix and a great deal as you can get a 2lb spool for $29.99 at EL Capitan Compared to Ande and Sufix which are in the $55 - $65 range. Hope this helps.

Yup..sure does help..that Penn line sounds tempting I'll have to take a look at some, see what the quality is like. Anyways guys I went back to that spot where I lost the monster to check out what sort of structure I am dealing with at that spot..I swam out about 200 yds with a snorkel and mask and dove down there to get a look...patches of jagged rocks everywhere, looks like it would have been able to cut through my shock leader if it rubbed on those rocks, it was nasty out there but a nice and deep hole I had my bait in a nice spot that night

I've started with Big Game cuz it was cheap and broke off several fish. Went to Sufix Superior and have been completely satisfied. Haven't tried the Penn line, but if you do and like it let me know.

i can attest to bullbuster cause that's what is on my 12/0, pretty good for the price, suffix is on my spinner and catches me many big rays, snook, tarpon, jacks, cudas etc., i got penn line on my penn lh lever drag 4/0 looking device works out on the pier and bridges for bonitas big cudas, big jacks, small sharks etc.

With Penn line i caught my most extreme catch, an 8ft nurse near 300lbs on 20lb test under the bridge rubbing on the pilings very tough catch for me but the line held.

Suffix and ande got me nice tarpons.

For shark fishign I have used all previously mentioned the only failures ive had were with line left in the sun for long periods of time it breaks really easily

Just an average fisherman.
