That's an 80lb kayak - not a chance. I had it there temporarily while i made a support for it.

Yes, you're probably right. Although, I put up a pull up bar with these because my wall had metal not wood studs so I just used the dry wall and it is still working 2 years later. FYI, I have no interest or affiliation with them or Home Depot, just a suggestion.
