Table Fare

Guys I know the answers are gonna be very subjective, however I was curious which of our toothy friends makes for the best table fare?

Booked a 2 day charter out of Panama City in the Panhandle (mostly bottom fishing), and the Captain said that as long as it is under 8ft we can throw one in the box to keep for eating. Anything over 8ft I will be taking pics of and posting up here on the site.

Also on the responses if ya willing to share ya favorite recipe then by all means feel free to do so.

The Cappy is right, the smaller sharks are more tender and taste better,,,,,,,i would try to keep em below 6 foot. The number one shark is the Mako but chances are slim of running into one unless you're fishing the blue water or an offshore wreck or underwater mount.A Blacktip or a small lemon shark would be the next choice from personal expierience i can say that they are good table fare. The trick lies in soaking your fillets in milk overnight to neautrilize the peculiar shark smell after that just soak them in some marinade for several hours and get ready to become a MAN EATING SHARK!!!Good luck ,i hope that helps.
