Don't buy it. Go to any ACE hardware store and ask the for LubriMatic "Marine Corrosion Control and Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease". This stuff is sticky, water won't washed off at all when you wash your reels and won't melt only at temperatures over 550F, which is hard to believe that you'll ever reach. It's the grease used for boat trailer's wheels bearings that usually goes in water when people lunch or retract they boats. It's usually about 5-$6 and you get a big jar. As a general rule, marine grease that use high temperature melt, like this one mention above are the best for reels.
Before you apply this grease, make sure you fully degrease all the parts where you'll use this grease. It will last for years anyway, so applying it properly is an important steep.
What i also like about this grease, it will not harden after years and years ....and years plus if you're not in a reel repairing business, this stuff will be part of your reel maintenance for a very very very long time.

Hey Boghy is that stuff good to help corrosion proof lever drags? I'm thinking screw holes, reel seat, any other gaps/holes. Might help keep the salt out... or is this a bad idea?

Yup, that's the stuff that i coat entirely all my conventional reels inside. It will keep the rust away excellent and most importantly won't wash off with water.
That's something that reel manufactures WON'T DO, even through THEY SHOULD DO! If you think about it, if your reel is well coated with grease inside, it will fail less, especially due to corrosion, but manufactures want your reel to last less because, otherwise they won't sale reels or parts.
Be very carefully how much grease you put in these screws holes, because if you put too much grease, you won't be able to tie properly the screw and you'll end up grounding the screws channels. Imagine grounding a hole that's in the main frame? Yeah, it can be that bad - were you would need to replace the hole frame. The way how i do it, i use a small brush, and i just put on the tip on the brush then grease inside the screw hole. Then, take the screw, using same brush, grease the screw with the brush lightly, then you can screw it into the previously greased hole. Remember, too much grease in a screw hole is as bad or worse then no grease. Just make sure not to overdue it.
Now, when you have to grease screw holes where the hole is drilled through, don't worry about how much grease you apply, just on thous holes were they only make them somewhat in the aluminum, with no way for the grease to come out.
