Keep an eye on craigslist for the next 2 weeks, in your town and the surrounding cities.

im gonna go monday to the cop shop and report them stolen if i can. because isnt that like border line grand theft? 200 for a cabo 110 for the boca rod 150 for the tld 15 and 100 for the aerial thats 560 for 2 rods. i think they may have not took my 9/0 because its a custom rod and if i see it i will know its mine.

Ya should always take pictures of ya equipment to show the cop and prove its yours and make a report. Every reel I have has spent its time in the pawn shops, some twice, and I have most of the time found them. But thats 16/0's and rods that I made. Carefull who ya beat up cause the druggie that stole it will sell it fast. I also have the last 4 didgets of my ss# ingraved in the spool. Every time a crack head sees ya poles, all he or she sees is a big fat cookie.

your right ernie the person u catch with ur gear most likely wont be the won that stole it i know cause 70% of my reels and fishing gear is bought from crack heads and on craigslist. so think twice before doing something to the wrong person cause that other person might think ur trying to steal there rods and reels....

i have gotten my stuff stolen plenty of times and i dont get mad cause i know that 98% of the time i will never see it again, i just charge it to the game and count it as not losing something but gaining experience

That sucks about your gear man..but what everyone says about the junkies, buddies, and crack heads stealing gear is right. Around this way we get some CHARACTERS that make their way onto the beaches..I call em beach buddies. They get loaded down at the bar by this one beach access I fish at and stumble onto the beaches looking for trouble. Had one try to run off with a couple of my rods one time when I was taking a line out..stupid buddy thought he could outrun me with those rods. The good news for him was he didn't really have any teeth left to knock out once I finally caught up to him, and he also got a free egg sandwich down town, as well as a roof over his head for the night.

Easy to find out just call them they don't bite. Ever since hurricane Wilma i have had to call them several times. I think you may have a claim there make sure you tell them what you told the popo they will probably need/want the report.

I am still so angry about all my stuff getting taken, It just f'***ed up my whole life plan  :O(
ALL my rods even kids rods...damn crackHeads
