Anyoen got some tips on a good 7-9' spinning rod. It needs to be at least a 2 piece fast tip but with a good backbone. to be used for decent sized cobia and tarpon.
Some where in the price range of 100-200$.

Need one that is 2 peice and a total of 7-9' ^^
Got a rule of thumb never buy fishing equiment anywhere else then a tackle shop ;D

Was thinking of the Shimano Terramar TMSX80XH. It is an 8' rod rated for 15-40lb line with an extra fast tip. But it turned out to bea 1 piece rod and i wont be able to bring it on the plane home :/

Still prefer tackle shops, thinks it's strange that places like wall mart can get better prices then a tackle shop. But then again im not really familiar with the US prices on stuff.

Tackle Shops Here Are Expensive, To Get A Decent Set Up Can Run You Well Into The $500.-$700. Range. Thats Why I Said Let Me Look In Wal Mart Real Quick

A decent set up in swden for this type of fishing would run for atleast 800 dollar.
Really hard to find reels taht can handle saltwater and sand for less then 600-700 dolars and that's the cheapest versions.

What stunns me the most is the price on lines tbh.
Filling a shimano saragosa 10000 will cost me almost as much as the reel costs in the states

some tackle shops get the same prices as wal mart but wal mart is able to sell lower since they can make more money else wear. and are able to order in bulk where a shop can only order 3 or 4. but some good shops will work with you on price. and will have a better selection.
