Where you get thous egg leads from with that big hole in them?
Also, can share the outside diameter of the copper pipe as well as for the wire?

Ive used a drill to make the holes in the lead larger before. I just salvaged a destroyed castnet for all of its lead. The weights on the weightline will prob work nicely for this concept. I'll post some pic's of mine too when I get a min to make them. I have a problem with losing my spiderweights though. They break off during the fight. How do you guys attach yours? I put about 6in of 130lb dacron (leftover, scrap) and a heavy snap swivel that is clipped to my tailwhip section of my leader. When I land my shark Im usually just left with the swivel. Im usually too excited to care at the time  but when I run out Im kinda screwed. SS, excellent idea and post. How do you attach yours though?

http://www.memphisnet.net/product/3572/sinkers_net

1/2'' out side diameter

i make them with # 6 & 8-----i try to go with the smallest legs i can get away with----just easier to reel back in

Try putting your snap to your mainline, the shark probably tangles in the weight and just breaks it off...

Just an average fisherman.

sandray----this video clip was about sliding traces but shows how i attached the spider weight--bottom line is with a zip tie to a swivel that slides up and down my mono trace

SS, the vid explained it very clearly, thanks alot :D Thats one HELL OF A LEADER! LOL! My longest are about 15' long. I use my weights in the same way except my leaders are shorter and instead of a ziptie I just use a scrap piece of dacron. Thinking a ziptie may hold up better than scrap line though. Ill be giving that a try next trip out, thanks man.
