I know the location of a huge snook at least 50 inches it's been there ever since I can't remember the problem is it doesn't eat anything I toss at it live mullet or anything the closest I came was with a fresh live 20inch lady fish it went right up to the tail then turned away almost like it can see the flourish leader, I just wanna catch it and let it go no one has caught it yet anyone know any tricks to get this fish to get aggressive it can't be that smart

From my experience chasing big trout (rainbow) I will tell you to fish as light of line as possible and make sure you use a Flourocarbon leader (6-8'). Smallest hook you feel comfortable with also. But most of all watch him. See what he eats, when he eats, how he eats and make note of even the smallest details. Fish in the late evening, early morning or night. Match the hatch (so to speak) and keep trying. Remember he has to be lucky every time you only have to be lucky once.

Good luck, post a report when you get him

Try a large, dead bait, whole or sliced. Ladyfish, needlefish, mullet, mojara, mackerel, small jacks, and catfish will work. A large snook usually isn't going to go to much effort to chase down a bait. I've had large ones eat up to 100 lb mono leader without any problems..never got one bigger than 44" yet but I have caught a few others over 40" as well and they've all eaten dead or cut baits.
