so last night at the gulfport art festivel that they hold twice a month capt.bill goldschmitt aka sharkman of cortez was down there promiting his book and the tourney so I went down there to see what the tourney was bout. yes the do have a division for catch and release. One thing that I didnt like is he made it a point to other ppl that he rather this tourney be a total kill tourney which i didnt like at all. just because a hammerhead ate his dog dont mean you need to go kill very shark he said it helps with research but what kind of research are you goin to do with dead shark but see whats in its stomach. So Im debating wether or not to buy a booth for the art walk on hte first friday of march to show ppl that not all shark fisherman are killers and if I do all sfsc that want to sit at the booth would be allowed. let Me know what you guys think

Have listen to him several times and he still has a 60s - 70s view of
shark fishing. He needs to go fishing to see there just are not as many
sharks out there as 30-40 years ago. Not as much of anything as there was
30-40 yrs ago. Even Mundas realized the effects of killing all those sharks in
his day. It''s a good thing he didn't accidentally back over his dog in the
driveway. He'd of had to kill himself.
