Well its about 12:51 am on thursday,i cant sleep,my mind is running crazy with day dreams of giant hammers spooling my 14/0 and big bulls working me over like my days working for my old man in the yard.Dripping full of sweat breatheing hard,and not stopping till i have done my job.I cant stop thinking about the longkey trip.I feel like a kid before christmas.I know this trip will be one i will not soon forget.I know this trip will be the one where i land my record hammer.
Dont ask me why i say that,i just feel it in my bones.I now know that i am addicated.Addicated to the best sport in the world.Its always on my mind like a drug,no matter how hard i try i just cant stop.My wife can yell at me all day long. i dont care,my co-workers dont want to hear my stories of the monsters of the deep.My kids dont want to watch another shark week repeate on the tivo.My family is sick of me making shark rigs,and working on my gear so i am ready to hit the water at the drop of a dime.I now have to admit it,i cant believe it but i geuss i have SHARK FEVER.Thanks to will and this site i have my new addication,and I LOVE IT.

Yeah i can identify with your ailment i was the one that coined the phrase "Shark Fever",named my boat "Shark Fever" and i might not be the first to have it but i will admit to it at 47 i still have the "Shark Fever".We just got back from the Long key bridge i got three hours sleep and woke up in a cold sweat thinking about the shark that fried my buddy Lui's 16/0 in front of my eyes as we were videotaping the whole thing.
