To all current South Florida Shark Club memebers, We will be having our Notorious end of the year Awards and Renewal Party. There will be Music, Live feed of multiple sharkfishing videos playing that weve gathered over the years, Tons of food, Ice cold beers, and Willy Usually goes as far as providing us with a nice outside Cocktail bar.
We understand that some of you may live a bit far away, but sending your membership payment and recieving awards via mail, just isnt the same. The thousands of pictures you will see at the party, the stories and the cammaraderie is like no other.You will see live videos of the very legends who were the Goats of sharkfishing in the 70s, 80s, and today. JD Hammer in his early years fishing the Florida Keys, Rene de Dios in battles with monsters on the Old south beach pier, and miles away from land on a small 23 foot boat in the Bahamas.
We also encourage that all of you attending spread the word to all of your other friends and family who share the same passions. May it be a college kid of only flyfishes in flamingo, or your 80 year old neighbor with Fond memories and that burning passion to still here the reels scream.
The South Florida Shark Club invites Fisherman and there families from all walks of life.
If you have kids,bring them and there friends, this year we will be having more junior awards and competitions.
This whole event is non - profit, actually William Fundora and a few others actually come out of pocket to bring you amazing food drinks, T-shirts and Numerous awards and Trophies.

I know times are tough, but $40 gets you and your family a whole lot, ive spent more money on a belt, 1 steak, and two drinks out with my wife.
We Encourage that none of you attend Empty Handed, Please Bring any fishing pictures or albums you have established over the years. Also bring your videos or lap tops so we can add to our video display for the night.
Me and alot of the Club members will be bringing Homeade dishes or drinks, this always is a big help to Save Our President Willy from coming too far out of pocket.

Can't make it this year, important flight up north to Chicago, going to meet some of my brothers and other grandmother for the first time, may be the only chance I get. I hope everybody has a good time, I wish I could bring my 12/0 for the tug of war.

Rich that's what I'm talking bout brother !! That's very cool of you offering a ride. Rich about family loss, I've been there and it's tough. Lost my mom and dad desperate years before the age of 17 . Legends Hammer and Rene each took me fishing and had my back to ride out the storm. Shark fishing truly is a great way to channel pain and sorrow in to the beauty of our sport. Being out on a beach as baits are out and sun is going down is a great time for positive reflection on our lossed loved ones.
