Due to an intense schedule I wont be able to host the tournament personally; Shannon Bustamante will be in charge.
PS: Long Key was chosen as the final destination.
This year I took on the duty of hosting/co-hosting the Rene Memorial fishing tournament. It's a great chance to meet other sharkers and make new friends so come one-come all!
The tournament will take place from:
Start:March 20th (Friday 06:00PM)
Finish:March 22nd (Sunday 12:00PM)
Bring the kids too!
Fishing along side of us is free, however, there will be pots for:
biggest shark ($20 entry fee)
biggest snapper ($10 entry fee).
lol
Biggest fish/shark caught by a peewee or junior angler ($5 entry fee).
(Any other suggestions?)
This tournament is normally held on Long Key Bridge but I would like to give it a little twist.
I would like to hear the opinions and feedback of other sharkers on the site as to which bridge they would like to fish. The bridges with the most votes will then be judged by our staff of tournament directors to determine if the substitute is worthy of its change.
Cease the day and voice your opinions everybody, I would like to hear them all.

Rene was one of my mentors, SHARK FISHING was a real treat along side of him, and what better place to remember him than LONG KEY BRIDGE. I ENCOURAGE every HARD CORE SHARKER to attend!!! I'm in!

My days off are Monday through Wednesday but I'm just one guy and it's a 5 hour drive from Orlando. This sounds like a great way to piss with the big dogs. I might have to load up and head south:
