I have a 50w with 800yds of 100lb braid and 80lb mono topshot. Is this setup good for big sharks?

People are catchin 10'6' hammers on 9/0's with 80LB mono. You should be fine for big sharks. Monster sharks might require some more line, heavier too.

We have been gettin 8ft+ lemons on spinning gear with 65lb braid. Not takin more than 300 yards on the run.

its fine on a clear beach. we catch sand bars up to 7'1" on long rods and 30lb mono with sealine 50's

make sure you keep the braid out of the water.

it can get wet, just don't let it sit on the sand. the surf tears up braid and you will break off.

The braid will be fine with a long mono top shot.
