I just picked up my first fishing kayak, a 2011 Hobie Pro angler. I'll be out tomorrrow and hopefully find some lake trout or salmon.
Anybody ever fished from one before?
I fish from a Pro Angler a couple times per week, it's a great kayak. The opportunities are endless with what you can do with it.
I took it out for the first time today on Lake Superior. I loved it. I had to cut the trip short because the wind started to pick up and I didn't want to end up 500 miles away from where I started.
I bet you get towed around by a king in that. I caught 8 10-22# 
kings the other day on Lake Michigan. The 22# fish took 30+ minutes, on 15lb line 
They are great game fish
I got one hit and it came off 
It was either a coho or a rainbow. Hit a flatlined husky jerk.
I need to get a fishfinder cause that lake is sooo big I have no idea where to start looking.
How did you get those kings?
Got two king salmon today. One ver very small one and another that was about 9-10 pounds. The big one pulled my kayak backwards! I can't imagine what a big kign mac would do if you hooked one in a yak
