Ernie/Joey,
What a photo! What is your technique for removing the tooth? How big was it? How difficult/dangerous is it to do?

Its real easy to do Chris.First stick your arm in his mouth, then pull out the stub you have left and hopefully there is a tooth stuck in the bone....Dave

The key to getting a tooth is looking close and spotting a double tooth. alot of times the outer of the two will be starting to fall out. notice at the top of the tooth and there will be a lack of skin connecting it, push the knife in to the gap between the top of the tooth and the jaw and twist a little. It is hard to get one if ya cant find a double. If no dubble just look for a gap at the top of the tooth between the jaw and tooth. Joeys tiger was mean. we couldnt get its mouth open. we opened it as far as in the pic and no farther. she would tense up and slam her jaws shut and it would make a loud chomp sound. I could hold on at the gum outside of the teeth and open its mouth a little, enough to spot one about mid ways from the back. We was trying to keep her in the water but she was showing her butt. Like on all the TV shows ya just roll em over belly up and they settle down. But ya gota roll it over and it does not want to be on its back. We got it rolled over and i got the tooth. Then we let her go, all 13' of her. Joey gets a sick look on his face when we talk about letting that set of jaws go. Be carefull cause if one gets ya hand it ant gona let go. A bigun may even get a bit more when it goes to wallering around.
