Hi im new,
i live in boca raton but am having trouble trying to get some some bait, does anyone know where a good spot is around boca raton to snag stingrays or anything? Also, where should i go to paddle out my bait every place ive tried ive never had any runs, does anyone know any good spots in the boca/ ft laud/ west palm beach area thanks!!
Try the local piers ,the jetties or hit the boats at the local marina when they come in then fish like mad and the sharks will come.Best of luck.

We are in a tough spot (I'm in coconut creek and I fish pompano a lot).
The big ones seem to in and north of WPB and South of miami.
Soon the bait fish will be here in broward county and the jacks and blue runners will be all over. You can catch 1-5lb fish from the pier, beach and inlets. We do not typically get the big jacks like they get in WPB.
Hit the beach in the AM or before dusk with a cooler or bag and look for the seagulls crashing the bait fish. The jacks and blue runners will be hittin the bait from underneath.
When you are droppin your bait, paddle out "to the blue water, about 45 ft deep." that may be about 300 yards out, chk out google earth.
I have gotten a couple sharks and a couple runs from pompano, south of the inlet. You can park on 16th off A1A.
Take US1 south, go east on 14th st causeway (just south of copans). Hit A1A north for 1/4 mile and make a right onto 16th. I dont pay the meter after 11Pm and I have not had any issues being out there all night. There is a small park and some restrooms and the people that come and go can seem shady so dont go alone.
