I'm still not clear on what this would do for us fishermen, but I know that it would help preserve a Historical Landmark that means a lot to those who appreciate and have a love for THE KEYS!!!! Below is a petition to help preseve a portion of THE 7 MILE BRIDGE!!!

HOW MANY HUNDREDS OF MILES OF ROADWAY DOES THE FDOT(Florida Department of Transportation)repair or upgrade during each year yet they can't repair and preserve a very HISTORIC 7 MILE STRETCH??
This sort of abandoment of such historic places by the federal goverment is just one more sign that this country is in trouble and needs to get back on track.They've got trillions for wars but can't preserve a very valuble piece of American history.I know it's just a thing,, but a Very important thing, and there are more important issues to deal with such as unemployment and a huge deficit that threatens to choke our country but where is the great leadership that America once stood for??Where are the great American Heros today???Have we totally lost our way???God help us.
