Has anybody used this reel? Just wanted to know how it would handle shark fishing.

I like everything about it except the gear shifter on the Vsx Penns, cant get used to them. I have used several different Penn International 130 reels and I prefer the 130ST due to the older style shifter. The Penn 130 reels have some of the largest parts of any reels, many parts that are usually made as 2-3 parts and put together are machined as one. It is really pretty amazing insides

Handle shark fishing just fine brother! little much for shark fishing IMO tho.
