I 'm OLD SCHOOL, and I know I'm old fashioned ,but wow,it really hit me when I bought a rodN Reel,
I haven't bought any rods or reels in awhile ,last I bought was a PENN8500SS an Ambassadeur6500Ci,and a spinning rod 7'20#"Tornado" rod [custom] and a "SNOOK ASSASSIN " 20# custom back in the 90s ,I already had the real Heavy stuff
NOW recently I bought a couple RODS /REELS and it really shocked me how advanced things are....
I got a Shimano 'CHRONARCH SFand a BASS PRO "BIONIC BLADE"7'HVY casting rod and an OKUMA spinning reel and aBIONIC BLADE spin rod 7' HVY action
and a TSUNAMI 9' spinning rod to put the Penn 8500SS on
I'm just amazed how advanced the stuff is, how light those rods are
MAN ,I guess it really makes me look old fashioned, but I just had to say it......
I looked at ALOT of gear before getting those , A friend of mine was laughing ; he says "OH MAN! Don't make a "science project" out of it ,just BUY something!!!LOL LMAO
